Poker News- Orange Park Florida Town Council Discusses Poker Room

Posted under poker & poker games & poker tournament & texas holdem

In a small town in Florida, the residents are attempting to open a poker room in the Orange Park Kennel Club, despite stiff resistance from the town hall as well as residents.  In a strange and backward story, after the town council favored the concept of adding a poker room to the kennel club, the Clay County Commissioner simply expressed a complete lack of interest, despite obvious benefits such as increased jobs and income in the community.  But poker rooms have initially been difficult to establish due to overwhelming resistance from citizens as well as local city governments.  But despite this resistance, local residents are convinced that they can somehow manage to push through legislation that will allow the opening of a professional level poker room in the Orange Park area located in the kennel club, where gambling already takes place in the form of betting on the dog track.  While dog track betting is legal and has been for many years, any other type of gambling is illegal other than the Florida lottery and church regulated bingo matches.  This emphasis on bringing new revenue streams and entertainment to the Orange Park area has not gone over well with many residents and city council leaders.  Fighting against the proposition to open a poker playing room are those who have had bad experiences with gambling and other types of games of chance in the past.  While poker is technically a game of skill, the difference between this type of gambling and the ridiculous odds present in games such as roulette and blackjack tends to get glossed over by opponents of new gaming establishments.  It is easy to point at Las Vegas casinos and other types of gaming establishments where the odds are so ridiculously out of proportion in comparison with poker rooms and the ability to win at games such as Texas Hold’em as an indicator of what poker is supposed to represent.

This narrow minded view and extremely biased argument against poker rooms has led to all manner of trouble in the past with the establishment of legitimate poker rooms and other games of skill.  There is never an and to the amount of people who will come out in protest of new poker rooms and gaming establishments, despite they skill-based nature of the competition president and those who choose to participate.

Bet Safe Poker Promotions

Posted under fulltiltpoker.com & online poker & poker & poker games

At the Bet Safe Poker the player will find the same rakeback sharing affiliate programs and poker bonus deposit programs that other, more popular websites have to offer.  The poker bonus deposit program matches the players online bankroll deposit 100% up to $500, which compares somewhat well with the poker bonus deposit matching program at Fulltiltpoker.com.  The rakeback sharing affiliate program also holds up to comparisons with strong producing websites.  Unfortunately, the level of action and the ability to generate winnings at loose games against the weaker players is somewhat lacking at most levels of play at Bet Safe Poker.  With the lack of action at the Bet Safe online poker room and casino, as well as the higher level of extremely experienced players that are difficult to win against, it is difficult to recommend the Bet Safe online poker room and casino over more attractive and effective competitors such as Fulltiltpoker.com.  While each player should of course make up their own mind, it is easy to see that Bet Safe Poker lacks many of the features that are generally commonplace in online poker rooms and casinos of this nature.

In other areas of the online poker room and casinos efforts to generate revenue and attract players on the web, the Bet Safe online poker room and casino does a far more adequate job.  Having been in business since 1997, it is obvious that the Bet Safe Poker room is skilled in keeping a safe and secure online poker room presence, as they have conducted over $7 billion worth of transactions via the web.  Having developed such a strong and unshakable reputation, the Bet Safe online poker room and casino does an outstanding job of attracting new players with the poker bonus deposit program and the rakeback sharing affiliate program, two of the most popular and generous features at the Bet Safe online poker room and casino.

Despite all of the features that make the Bet Safe online poker room and casino so attractive on the surface, the website itself leaves something to be desired with the level of action and the ability for players to win on a regular basis against weaker players.  While it is not commonly known, most experienced players depend on these lower levels of players to generate winnings, as they provide an easy target for more experienced players.  Without these new and less experience players to take advantage of, referred to as fish, very few experienced and professional players will have any interest in continuing to compete in these types of games on a regular basis.

The European poker tour.

Posted under poker & poker celebrities & poker games & poker players & poker tournament & texas holdem

The European poker tour has drawn so much attention from around the world with the tremendous level of competitors from the international community who are looking to duke it out over the European poker tour tournament tables in locations around the world. With the focus on bringing in players from all over, the European poker tour has been extremely successful at drawing some truly big-name players and has even benefited from the presence of World Series of poker tournament in Las Vegas winner, Phil Hellmuth. While these types of big names do much for the advertising and publicity level that these types of events receive, it is the last thing that their competitors wish to see. Knowing that you have to compete with players as talented as Phil Hellmuth has to be the most difficult challenge of all time for any professional level poker tournament player, whether European, American or Martian.

Unfortunately for many international and European players, America produces some of the most aggressive and relentlessly skilled Texas Hold’em poker tournament players in the world, featuring some of the most able gamblers and gamers that the world has ever seen. With this level of competition, European players might have their work cut out for them in attempting to take the final table and earn cash in the Texas Hold’em poker tournament competition. While these poker tournaments tend to draw players from all over the world, it is interesting to know that the most competent and talented players generally come from the Las Vegas area, having been born and bred on gaming and gambling and perfected their skill at the tables at the Las Vegas hotels and casinos that feature so much competition between talented players.

Considering the world level of competition and strength of the players that are competing in the European poker tour, it isn’t hard to believe that there are some of the world’s highest-ranked players and most talented competitors taking it to the limit every day on the European poker tour as well as the rest of the poker tournaments that are conducted throughout the world on a regular basis. With professional level players from all over the world, it only remains to be seen who might take the winning match and what nationality they might be, as the winning nation will certainly have some considerable bragging rights after such an amazing victory.
